One to One Dog Training

  • Flexible training times – Training is arranged each week to fit into your weekly schedule
  • Personalised Training – The entire training session is dedicated to you and your dog.
  • I visit you to do the training where you need it most – your house, garden or local area, dependant on what skills we are learning.
  • Immediate Start – No need to wait for a group puppy class to start. The first 16 weeks of your puppy’s life are important for teaching life skills for both you and puppy!

“I cannot recommend this enough. A great course, where I learnt so much and so did Freddie, he absolutely loved it!” – Freddies mum

Using positive, reward-based and force-free methods, training is based on teaching the basic behaviours that dogs and owners commonly need on a daily basis, allowing them to be a well-mannered member of the family, and enabling them to tackle new challenges in a calm and confident manner as they grow.
I can also develop training plans to tackle a particular problem behaviour.

I offer the following One-to-One Training Courses:

Puppy Foundation – 8 weeks to 5 months
You will learn how to meet your puppies needs and how to successfully socialise your puppy to create a good foundation for your dog to confidently cope with new situations as they grow. Preventing Separation anxiety after lock-down will be one of the skills we will teach you and your puppy

Adolescent Boot Camp – From 5 months.
Private, one to one, customised training for adolescent and adult dogs. I will start with an initial consultation then build a training plan just for you!

Behaviour Clinic – any age
Do you have a dog who is well trained but has one specific behaviour that is driving you mad?
Would you like to enjoy your walks more with your dog but they pull excessively on the lead or won’t come back when called?
Or maybe your dog barks excessively and can’t switch off in the evening when you’re trying to relax.

I can set- up force-free training plans to tackle specific behaviours that you’d like to improve in your dog. Common problems  I can help with are:

  • Pulling on the lead
  • Excessively Barking / Not being able to settle
  • Reacting to other dogs / people
  • Preventing Separation Anxiety / Coping being left alone
  • Recall not effective when there’s distractions on a walk
