Welcome to Happy Healthy Hounds

My name is Sarah, and I am the owner of Happy Healthy Hounds.

Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. 

I love my job and take care of my client’s pets, as if they were my own.

I pride myself on animal adoration, dependability and punctuality.

There is nothing better, than to be out and about in the fresh air with my four legged friends, whatever the weather.

I am fully insured and DBS checked. I have also undertaken a Pet First Aid & CPR course.

We have a six-year-old miniature Schnauzer at home called Oscar. He is adorable and loves to come out with me on walks with his new friends.

Happy Healthy Hounds is located in Wigan, and we take full advantage of all the wonderful walks that are on our doorstep. Ensuring the dogs we care for are happy & healthy by providing them with a variety of different walks, smells and social stimulations.

Solo Walks

Solo 30 mins walk = £10.00
Solo 1 hr walk = £12.00

  • Ideal for dogs that may be nervous around other dogs or aggressive towards other dogs.
  • Owners that prefer their dogs to be walked on their own.

Pack Walks

1 hr walk = £12.00
Two dogs from same household = £15.00
Weekend 1 hr walk = £15.00

  • 1 hour walks with up to 4 dogs max.
  • Benefiting from socializing with other dogs and running off their energy together, coming back home shattered

Home Visits

30 min = £8.00
1 hr home visit = £12.00

Dogs / Cats / Rabbits / Hamsters / Hens / Other Small Animals.

  • For those occasions when you need someone to pop round to feed your pet.
  • Refill their water
  • Ensure they go to the toilet (Dog Visits)
  • Give your pet lots of cuddles and attention (if appropriate)
  • Close or open curtains and bring in the post, if you are away.

Puppy Visits

30 minutes visit – £10.00

  • We will call for half an hour visits, to ensure your puppy is safe.
  • Give them the opportunity for toilet breaks.
  • Clean up any mess they may have made.
  • Feed them if you want us to and check the water has not been tipped over.
  • Most importantly give them plenty of cuddles and attention.

Pet Taxi Service

1 hour – £15*

  • We will pick up your pet from your home.
  • Take them to their appointments whatever that maybe i.e. the vets or the groomers.
  • We will then pick them up and drop them back home again after.
  • Saving you the inconvenience of taking time off work.

*Prices from £15 (depending on length of appointment.)

Would you like your pet to come to your wedding?

Planning your wedding and want, your four-legged friend to be there on your special day. Happy Healthy Hounds could help to make this possible, by providing a pet taxi service.

We will pick your pet up and bring him or her to your wedding, then take them home again after.

Prices may vary depending on mileage to and from the church / venue or length of time attending the wedding.
